- 소개/요약Mindfulness meditation and other meditativepractices are increasingly popular, and a growing number of people worldwide are usingthem in their personal lives to produce a variety of outcomes ranging from being 10% happier (Harris, 2014), tobeing a little more relaxed and less anxious, to coping withchronic pain and much more. Those who use some form ofmeditation on a weekly basis in the United States have beenestimated to number more than 20 million, based upon a2007 survey, and likely to be even more today (Barnes,Bloom, & Nahin, 2008). There currently exist a number ofpopular magazines, books, and websites concerned withmeditation and the spiritual traditions in which meditationpractices have played a key role.
