  • 소개/요약Emerging evidence indicates that mindfulness-based interventions are effective treatments for children and adolescents with ADHD. However, many clinicians are unaware of the application of mindfulness interventions in general and how they apply to this specific population. Thus, the purpose of this article is to examine the use of mindfulness training used to address common symptoms of ADHD in children and adolescents. We describe specific mindfulness techniques and skills within a framework of general mindfulness goals and objectives. In addition, we discuss suggestions for further adaptations of mindfulness-based interventions for use in clinical settings.
