- 소개/요약This article is based on the president's speech given at the annual breakfast meeting of the 81st Annual Convention of the Southern States Communication Association, Little Rock, Arkansas, March 25, 2011. The address uses the metaphor of food consumption to examine the effects of the value of expediency on contemporary communication and argues that like fast food (fast communication), a slow communication movement supportive of values such as eloquence is needed to combat the negative effects of fast communication.
