- 소개/요약This paper was born out of a problem: veteran suicide. In 2020 six thousand suicides were from the military community. It has been this way for the last ten years, which equals ten times the combat deaths we have suffered in the 17 year Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. While these suicides are caused by many conditions soldiers face, I believe moral injury is one of them that is least talked about. In this paper I will argue that moral injury is a complicated subject that needs further definition and would benefit from a Buddhist prescription for care.
