  • 소개/요약Sleep problems, ranging from mild sleep disturbance to debilitating insomnia, are among the most common health challenges occurring in adults, with prevalence estimated from 35% to 48%.1., 2., 3., 4. Indeed, even moderate levels of sleep disturbance are associated with increases in daytime fatigue, and often with disturbed mood, depressive symptoms, and reduced quality of life. For people with mild to moderate sleep problems, medical treatments may not be appropriate. Instead, community-based behavioral interventions may be able to effectively address moderate sleep disturbance and related daytime dysfunction.
