  • 소개/요약Attunement between clinician and parent helps the parent feel connected and understood, and creates a space for change, such that the parent understands their child more deeply and sees their child in new ways. The presenters will explain the meta-framework of Facilitating Attuned Interaction (FAN) and how it increases the clinician's sensitivity to the emotional state and needs of the parent to maximize attunement with them. In turn, the parent is given the opportunity through Mindful Awareness Play intervention (demonstrated by a recorded clinical example) to develop a greater level of attunement, enabling them to read their child’s cues with increased awareness and appreciation. The effectiveness of this work is supported by a qualitative study of the intervention.
