- 소개/요약Effective treatments for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) include pharmacotherapy (antidepressants) and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) (Foa et al. 2004). There is, however, ample room for improvement since 25–45 % of patients treated with CBT in clinical trials continue to meet diagnostic criteria at the end of the trial (Van Minnen and Hagenaars 2002). Furthermore, CBT carries a risk of exacerbation that is estimated at 10 % (Schottenbauer et al. 2008), and in a recent meta-analysis on PTSD treatment, an average dropout rate of 18 % was reported (Imel et al. 2013).
